SUMMARY

Paragon Professional Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is currently seeking a qualified Invoicing Administrator in Sykesville, Maryland. This position reports directly to the Senior Project Manager of Paragon Professional Services. This position may be considered for remote work.
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure all detainee transports are documented and that documentation (trip logs, gas receipts, travel receipts and G-391 forms) is retained with a copy provided to each AOR COR.
  • Collect, prepare and submit weekly transportation metrics for each AOR COR.
  • Collect transportation metrics and invoice support documentation as required by the contract for each of the three AORs.
  • Prepare separate monthly invoice materials and present to each AOR COR for approval to include the G-391 Upload, invoice and Burn Report. Forward approved invoice materials to corporate offices.
  • Prepare monthly Burn Report and present it to SPM, CORs and PPS corporate office for approval.
  • Attend meetings as required.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum Necessary)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
  • High School Diploma / GED. Associate degree or certification preferred in any of these related fields [Accounting, Business Management); or at least 2 years of related industry experience and have knowledge of program objectives, policies, procedures for government contract billing. Degree requirements may be met by work experience or the completion of a career development program that includes work related experience and training.
  • Must maintain an active cellphone to receive assignments and maintain communication with co-workers and supervisory staff.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance

Preferred
  • Public Trust Clearance
  • Prior experience with a government contractor or other government entity and understanding of public safety, law enforcement and/or corrections.

DOT COVERED/SAFETY-SENSITIVE ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation "safety-sensitive" functions.

  • No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
