Summary:



This position is responsible for loading/unloading equipment, and data entry. Yard Laborer is responsible for the lifting and movement of heavy equipment and materials.



Preferred Qualifications:


* Must have knowledge of required tools and their proper use.
* Must be a team player and have effective communication skills in dealing with co-workers and any other work-related contacts.
* Use problem-solving skills and critical thinking to resolve and identify issues, including safety risks.
* Basic transportation knowledge in moving equipment and loads from one location to another.
* Must be willing to follow all company directives and safety procedures.
* Must be able to work at heights.
* A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.



Core Competencies


* Load / unload heavy equipment, and loose attachments
* Must follow safe working practices at all times.

* Data Processing: includes updating and maintaining equipment logs.

* Observes, and measures height, and width of all equipment for cranes. Safety conscious at all times.

* Keep equipment and attachments organized on the yard in an orderly manner.

* Disburse all machine transactions to appropriate personnel on a daily basis.

* Performs routine equipment preparations such as cleaning, checking and filling fluid levels, and performing minor adjustments.
* Responsible for inventory by labeling all machines and attachments.
