Overview

The available position is shop based and reports to a Shop Supervisor and/or onsite project Superintendent.

In addition to above mentioned responsibilities, applicants will be expected to perform basic labor tasks when not assigned to typical mechanic operations. These labor tasks may require extensive physical activity at times.

Keller provides numerous internal and external training classes and encourages obtaining certifications related to quality, knowledge, and safety. Full time employees are eligible to receive benefits as well as participate in the company 401K program.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

- Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques and equipment.

- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine welding requirements.

- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components based on project specifications.

- Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.

- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Qualifications

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a welder in a shop environment.

- Proficient in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to undergo additional training or certifications as required.
