VCA Clayton Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team!

Our full-service veterinary hospital recently moved into a beautiful new state of the art facility in downtown Clayton. We offer a variety of services including primary care, surgery and dentistry.

About the Role

As a member of the VCA team, you will support the team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

  • Client education and communication
  • Patient assessment
  • Surgical preparation and assisting
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Diagnostics
  • Radiology
  • Dentistry
  • Venipuncture, catheter placement
  • Laboratory work
  • Pharmacy duties, medication preparation and administration
  • Compassionate patient care
