RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage trackwork subcontractor and vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of trackwork scope within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate trackwork with related disciplines - civil, overhead catenary system, train control, etc.
• Lead the development of project plans to assure effective execution by the Project Team and monitor progress to ensure compliance with the pre-determined execution plan.
• Utilize financial and monthly forecasting to manage and contain costs. Assist with preparation of progress billings and authorization of payments to material suppliers and subcontractors.
• Participate in Project reviews, acceptance testing, manages the completion of all trackwork close out activities - As-Built drawings, punch lists, O&M Manuals, etc.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 10 years related work experience
• Experience in railroad, transit or light rail track installation
• Experience with installation of trackwork in mixed running (light rail and vehicular traffic) preferred
• Organizational ability - able to prioritize, organize and monitor activities and suppliers.
• Good interpersonal skills, able to establish good rapport with site staff at all levels
• Able to work well both by him/herself and in a small team.
