Scope of Role:

• Shift- 7a-7p Every other weekend.
• Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center.
• Full time 36 hours/week.

Duties Include:

• The overflow nurse will complete and document the admission assessment, physical assessment, vital signs, care plans, patient and family education as per hospital standards using the inpatient charting templets.
• The overflow nurse will complete admission orders and provide guidance to team members and assigning related tasks.
• The nurse will assess and address patient and family needs and provide outstanding customer service while in their care.

Qualifications:

• BSN preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS ( AHA)
• Two years of acute Tele or Progressive Care Experience
• Trauma Experience
• Child Abuse and FBI Prints
• Active PA RN License ( will accept active temp license by start date)
