Technician Property Maintenance

Overview:

Under supervision of the Area Manager, assist in the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of residential and facility electronic/electrical equipment, and systems, to always ensure efficient and safe operations. Perform tasks of basic plumbing, such as faucet and toilet repairs Performs work duties in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following: Hot cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and possibly congested areas.

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure consistency with health & safety.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean/repair circuit breaker panels, etc.) Assist in setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems, conduct repairs when necessary.  
• Maintain heating & plumbing systems to ensure functionality. Inspect alarm systems & schedule repairs when needed. Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, etc.). 
• Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide. Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (e.g. landscaping, painting, carpentry).

Ability to successfully complete required department certifications.
