Tax Accountant

Our client, a large financial services and healthcare related company in the greater King of Prussia area is in need of a career-oriented tax accountant due to the exciting growth of the company. This new position will be responsible for indirect taxes and the corresponding appropriate accounting, and will have high visibility within the accounting department and has excellent room for growth and promotion.

TAX ACCOUNTANT - Indirect taxes

Contract-to-hire

Hybrid - 3 days/week in the office

$32-36/hour depending on experience ($70-75K when converts to permanent)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

* file and manage indirect taxes - property, sales & use, etc..

* support the month end accounting close

* record and document journal entries, record accruals and perform G/L account analysis

* perform accounting for indirect taxes recording proper expenses/liabilities

* work with the tax department and accounting department to ensure proper accounting

* special projects

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelors Degree

* 1+ years accounting experience

* prior experience with indirect taxes a plus
