Job Description
NOTE: This position is Remote/Hybrid with an estimated two days out of the week spent in a local office. Potential locations include Paramus (NY/NJ), Boston, Tampa, Houston, Austin, Milwaukee, or Chicago.
Veolia North America is growing and looking for a Talent Advisor to specialize in our Information Technology and Information Systems (IT&S) openings.
You will be part of a high visibility team focused on having a direct impact on the business whilst recruiting for top talent across the industry. You will need to draw on extensive knowledge of the business; forge dynamic relationships with leaders, managers, HRBP's and work directly in partnership with team members to help Veolia continue our mission to be the leader in Ecological transformation.
The Talent Advisor will report to the Recruiting Manager, Corporate Business Services and be accountable for full cycle talent acquisition, delivering effective talent acquisition services and solutions to the business to meet current and anticipated future hiring demands with added focus on process efficiencies, managing cost, and increasing value while complying with external legal and regulatory requirements and ensuring alignment with established internal standards and guidelines.
Provide full cycle talent acquisition support to assigned client base developing robust, insightful sourcing and branding plans to attract and recruit qualified and diverse talent
Day to day responsibility for building a talent pipeline to fill open roles
Serve as talent advisor with deep understanding of client business and knowledgeable of talent availability in the marketplace
Cultivate and maintain relationships to source top talent that meet qualifications and organizational fit
Partner with hiring managers, business leaders and HR Business Partners to understand business needs to ensure recruitment strategies are aligned, functioning as subject matter expert on all recruitment activities pertaining to area of responsibility for the region or function
Educate and counsel hiring managers on recruitment policies and procedures, interviewing techniques & guidelines and compliance and understanding of EEO/OFCCP laws and regulations
Interface with and manage vendors and recruitment agencies to ensure adherence to program terms and conditions and hiring process standards
Track and report recruiting status reports to clients and HR Business Partners
Lead and participate in recruiting-related projects and initiatives
Ensure standard operating procedures and service level agreements are adhered to
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, employment law, and technological advancements
Participation in industry conferences and training to help promote a "outside, in" brand marketing of the Veolia recruiting brand
Proactive recruiting and networking on job boards aka: LinkedIn
Qualifications
5+ years of full-cycle corporate/business unit or agency recruiting experience.
Experience in creating recruiting reports for clients and HR Business Partners as well as a track record of building and maintaining relationships at all levels of an organization, specifically within Information Technology and Information Systems (IT&S) leadership teams.
Experience with ATS (prefer SmartRecruiters). Experience with Google Suite.
Recruitment experience in the water, wastewater, chemicals, construction, industrial, or energy industry is nice to have but not a requirement. Prior IT&S Recruiting Experience will be most beneficial.
Knowledgeable of talent supply and demand in the marketplace. Skilled in developing and delivering interview training to hiring managers and interview teams.
Proven capabilities in developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies to source passive and active candidates. Experience in selling job opportunities and closing candidates.
