Systems Engineer (Denver, CO)

The Select Group is seeking a System Engineer for their top telecommunication client in the Denver, Co Area. For this role, the Systems Engineer will be a part of the Wi-fi Ops team that handles and resolves network issues for broadband networking. This role will require to be onsite 3 days a week.

Systems Engineer Skills:

• 4-5 years of systems engineering experience
• Cloud and virtualization experience (VMware & AWS)
• Experience working with Unified Computing Systems, Ruckus, and Nexus
• CCNA is a must
• Ability to troubleshoot network traffic using packet analysis and network analytics
• Strong knowledge of IP routing/protocols, wireless access, and infrastructure
• Knowledge across all layers of OSI model

Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve wireless service faults
• Ensures network is up to standard (performing configurations, updates, changing IP addresses for access points, firewall upgrades, etc.)
• Collaborate with network operations and wireless teams to identify customer impacts in the maintenance window
• Helping manage the data center - adding/removing hardware as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to help develop better support processes and strategies
