SUMMARY

GameStop's Pennsylvania Fulfillment Center is look for an experience purchasing coordinator. Working with general supervision, the Procurement Supply Specialist will own end to end responsibility for ensuring that all product, equipment, and materials needed for business operations are procured and ordered based on the supply and demand provided by the operations team as well as monitoring usage and inventory. Associates in the role will maintain in-depth knowledge about the products being purchased as well as the internal planning and operational processes and works to accomplish the best purchasing results balancing supportability and risks. This includes initiating purchase requests for any external purchasing, from outside suppliers. You will align with the operations team, drive efficiencies, and improve procurement processes on site.

What you will do:

• Working cross-functionally to ensure demand planning is completed
• Develop weekly supply plans against production forecast and ensures supportability
• Generate requisitions based on supply plan and communicate to purchasing coordinator
• Pro-actively and timely communicate supply status update to internal customers
• Manage supply to agreed inventory target, identify, and work to mitigate any inventory risks
• Provide inventory summary report on a quarterly basis
• Analyze and interpret data gathered from various sources such as Coupa, WM System - Manhattan, provide analysis and interpretation results to management, including formats such as charts, graphs, pivot tables, etc.
• Support routine and ad-hoc business reporting needs
• Consistent with the general nature of this role, work collaboratively with others throughout Fulfillment Center to achieve or exceed department objectives; assist in or lead special projects as directed
• Communicate to management all issues that could result in process delays, safety risks, or those that might cause loss to GameStop or its associates
• Work closely with other team members to ensure daily production, quality, and safety goals are achieved, which may include some relevant, non-data, non-administrative duties
• Track, monitor, unload, and put away non-inventory supplies, materials and equipment using multiple tools to include but not limited to PIT equipment.

What would be nice to have:

• 2-year degree in business, supply chain, engineering related fields a plus but not required
• 3+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management
• A minimum of 2 years of experience using Coupa or other purchasing software

What you must have:

• Communicate effectively with management and co-workers using written and spoken English - bilingual communication skills preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suites: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
• Demonstrated capacity for gathering and scrutinizing data to identify issues, opportunities, patterns, and sustainable business solutions
• Ability to train and operation PIT equipment to include forklift, cherry picker and more
• Must pass all required PIT training in 30 days
• Proficient ability to read/comprehend complex displayed and/or printed statistical data/information and reports
• Possess working analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient ability to perform basic math functions accurately (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• Proficient ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others; conducts working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization
• Possess the learning capacity to receive and apply cross-functional training; willingness to assist other functions and work groups as needed so the department achieves or exceeds its overall business objectives
• Working ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals
• Possess accurate typing and data entry skills
• Working ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency, and ease
• Working ability to comprehend and adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures including, but not limited to, those related to attendance and scheduling requirements, honesty and integrity, confidentiality, safety, and conflict of interest
