DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with schedulers to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs.
  • Builds & maintains Sharonville plant capacity model to feed the scheduling optimization model for assessment of demand changes and impact on plant resources and capital.
  • Builds & maintains scheduling parameters at the item level in MRP and updates as changes in capital resources are inputted into the plant.
  • Design, maintain and validate inputs and outputs of a total landed cost and delivery model to inform VP of manufacturing and Scheduling manager of opportunities to improve supply chain delivery and cost by moving product to be produced elsewhere in the network.
  • Maintains key MRP inputs (eg lead times, routes, equipment capacity) to ensure system accurately reflects plant's capabilities.
  • Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.
  • Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
  • Backup to the scheduling team as needed by maintaining the release of work orders and the schedule for the assigned facility; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.
  • Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads regular analysis review and meeting with management.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least five years of related experience required.
  • Prior experience in SIOP, scenario modeling, ability to build data models with large data sets
  • Ability to work effectively and creatively in a lean environment
  • Familiarity/expertise with AX, Dynamics 365, Excel, PowerBI and other ERP, MRP systems preferred
  • Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, able to synthesize considerable amounts of complex data
  • Self driven and self motivated individual with strong communication skills.

EDUCATION REQUREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, business, supply chain management or related field
