Strategic Business Manager

Meridian, Idaho

Blue Cross of Idaho is looking for a Strategic Business Manager to ensure critical decisions and priorities are turned into clear assignments and actionable plans. The role will perform regular follow-ups, helping and influencing team members and leaders to successfully deliver key tasks and will regularly report on results and status.

This role will report to the Vice President of Strategy & Execution. The position can be located in Meridian, ID or can be remote from a mutually agreeable location. Hybrid work schedule is supported. #LI-Hybrid

To be considered for this opportunity, you have:

Experience: 5 years' business process and analysis, project management or related experience required. Strategy and/or Corporate Development experience is preferred.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Ability to understand strategic decisions and convert them into clear assignments and actionable plans.
  • Ability to present on status and result of work that is being tracked.
  • Executive presence
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work in a complex and dynamic team environment
  • Lead complex, segment-oriented initiatives through cross-functional areas

In this role, we will ask you to:
  • Understand the business context of decisions and turn them into clear assignments and actionable plans.
  • Productively and cooperatively perform regular follow-ups, with the team, and to assist where possible.
  • Track and report regularly the status of multiple projects.
  • Facilitate meetings, including tactical staff meetings, key strategic meetings, and offsite planning meetings.
  • Ensure that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and relevant external regulations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
