We are seeking a creative and detailed Neuroscientist to join our Neuroscience Therapeutic Focus Area as a Staff Scientist. You will be leading a small team studying the biology and treatment of several neurodegenerative diseases including initially frontotemporal dementia and Huntington's Disease.

A day in the life of this Staff Scientist may look like:

• Recommending, developing, and overesight of new models, assays, targets, or research areas,
• Preparing presentations of data, programs, or new ideas for senior leaders, interdisciplinary teams, and external collaborators.

In order to qualify for this role, you will need to have a strong publication history and will have completed a PhD in Neuroscience, a postdoctoral fellowship, and a minimum of 3 years of additional research after completion of this fellowship. Prior supervisory experience and evidence of successful project initiation and completion is required. Experience with in vitro, in vivo, and tissue-based assays is highly desirable, with some background in behavioral testing required.
