Applications and Information Services (AIS), a unit within Information Systems and Computing (ISC), works with University clients to plan, develop and maintain business applications and integrations. The Workday Operations team is comprised of key roles that support Workday@Penn including configuration, security, reporting, and change management.
Job Description
Responsibilities
This position will work as part of the University's Workday team and be responsible for reporting and analytics in Workday. This position will work with subject matter experts and owners to gather requirements for Workday reports and will analyze, design and build new custom reports using standard Workday reporting functionality (ex: Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Dashboards, and Discovery Boards). This position will need to document the report functionality and design to facilitate ongoing maintenance. As part of the Workday functional support team, this position will participate in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards. This position will work closely with other members of the Workday functional team and serve as a subject matter expert for others regarding reporting and calculated fields.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four years of experience, including business analyst and project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Workday or an equivalent system required. Proficient in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields and Dashboards preferred. Experience with HR technologies, systems, and reporting. Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Statistical analysis software packages). Demonstrated ability to conduct high level needs analysis and produce reporting and data analysis. Ability to create a consolidated report by combining data from multiple data sources. Strong written and oral communication skills. Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities. Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
