Overview

This role manages, creates/designs and continually enhances Insmed's HR data analytics, reporting and dashboards. This individual has strong experience in designing flexible, scalable, business-facing reporting solutions across various HR systems (Workday, iCIMS, Quantum Workplace, Qlik). This role is crucial for delivering on Insmed's vision of enhancing data driven people decisions across the business in support of reaching our corporate goals. This individual has expertise in data visualization and data storytelling; they partner closely with leaders from HR and across the business to understand the analytics needs or gaps to create dynamic, interactive reporting and data solutions. This role is responsible for these solutions end-to-end, starting with understanding the reporting goals, building the right solution, to collecting ongoing data points. More importantly the role should be able to interpret data and provide insights to drive action. These efforts will enable us to enhance the employee experience through data - in order to contribute to the larger mission of 'serving our patients through our people' and accelerating Insmed's business growth. Additionally, this role will manage ad-hoc HR reporting requests from across the organization, along with all federal and state reporting.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Workday Expertise: Able to leverage Workday reporting tools and modules, including Report Writer, Composite Reporting, and Advanced Reporting to create new and run existing reports.
  • Reporting Strategy Development: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive reporting strategies aligned with business objectives and legal/regulatory requirements. Lead data collection and analysis of Federal and State reporting requirements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of data structures, data management principles, and data extraction techniques within the Workday ecosystem.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, patterns, and insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations for stakeholders. Creation of regular dashboards, with the ability to shift tone and focus dependent upon audience, inclusive of senior leadership and executive team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Experience managing reporting projects from conception to completion, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Collaborative Partner across the Insmed HR Functional Teams (HRBPs, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Inclusion & Culture) to support ongoing operational analytics efforts.
  • Spearhead innovative analyses and efficiency improvements to drive business decisions as Insmed scales and grows.
  • Continually assess current systems and utilization; identify and recommend improvements such as training, configuration, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency within Workday & other HR systems
  • Point of contact and subject matter expert for ad hoc people data and analytics requests.
  • Maintain awareness of current HCM trends, attending conferences and/or trainings to stay up to date on the latest technology.
  • Maintain unwavering confidentiality with sensitive data and employee information.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Focus in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or other related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience and metrics/reporting role required, with a minimum of 3 years experience using Workday. Primary experience in these roles includes developing and delivering dashboards, visualizations and reporting to customers. Experience with iCIMS & Quantum Workplace is a plus.
  • Workday Pro Reporting Certification is strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in data visualization best practices, storytelling through data, and visual design of data
  • Thorough technical and functional understanding of all areas/modules of Workday, including system design.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills necessary; ability to work with all levels within the organization.
  • Team oriented: strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
  • Must be organized with an ability to manage workload, and multiple projects, efficiently to fulfill commitments in a timely manner.
  • Prior experience in Pharma and/or Biotech a plus.
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Salary Range

$111,000 - $156,133 a year
