Job Description

The Sr. IT Project Manager will lead large/complex cross-functional projects with diverse internal teams in support of the LPG Project Management Office (PMO). Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for all aspects of developing project plan, project scope, schedule, resource, risks and overall management to ensure and drive successful delivery of projects.
• Drive project among multiple teams such as Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, Communications, Customer Excellence to meet business objectives and metrics
• Ensure project goals, charter, and deliverables in project plans are achieved within cost, schedule, scope, and quality.
• Responsible for leading and coordinating the operation of assigned projects, including requirements and design sessions, setting project plans, collaborating with resource managers, sending out weekly project health status reports, and resolving risks and issues.
• Assure that the project teams are following project management framework, including assessment, initiation, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, release, closure. This includes documentation artifacts and gate review.
• Function as a liaison between cross functional teams and leadership to ensure Business and IT needs have been met.
• Drive the execution of change management plans, including functional training and internal/external communications.
• Prepare and present to project teams, steering committees, and executive staff.
• Provide overall capital and operating expense project budget tracking for multiple projects including full spend and remaining forecasts.
• • Coordinate with vendor/suppliers to support project needs.
• Practice multiple project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) along with participating in Practical Process Improvement initiatives.

How will you get here?

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Technical subject area, Business, Science, equivalent work experience, and/or Master's degree a plus
• 5+ years of hands-on IT project/program management
• Experience in portfolio and project management tools, such as Planview EPPM, HP PM Pro, or equivalent.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
• Experience in delivery of successful Enterprise level IT projects such as ERP, CRM, EDW, eBusiness, Master Data Management (MDM), financial, distribution, MES systems, and mergers/acquisitions projects
• Experience in handling budget, project plans, resource allocations. Good understanding of financial concepts and accounting terms.

• Ability to lead multiple projects and interface effectively with team members and across multiple departments & regions/countries
• Ability to implement orderly structure in complex situations, combine big picture thinking with data and details to think through problems.
• Ability to analyze data trends to anticipate issues that may arise and develops proactive solutions to counter them.
