Job Summary and Scope:

THIS HYBRID ROLE- 2 DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE, 3 DAYS PER WEEK REMOTE -CAN BE BASED OUT OF ONE OF OUR OFFICE LOCATIONS IN EITHER : FAIRFIELD, OH., NORCROSS, GA., JACKSONVILLE, FL., OR CARROLTON, TX.

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be a critical member of our ERP team to help enable and rollout business functionality in support of Veritiv's transformation. This role will serve as the IT lead and expert within one of 5 end-to-end process areas:

  • Opportunity to Quote, Request to Resolution
  • Quote to Cash
  • Forecast to Plan, Plan to Replenish
  • Procure to Pay
  • Record to Report

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex business processes and design solutions based upon ERP capabilities
  • Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements
  • Support Cloud ERP production environment for the modules associated with end-to-end processes
  • Build proof-of-concept (POC) for potential new solutions and technology
  • Manage relationships with multiple business teams for new solution features and technical support
  • Coordinate with end-users and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate performance of the production environment
  • Take ownership to set up and configure application, when necessary, participate in testing during system upgrades
  • Work closely with the integration team to troubleshoot and solve any data related issues during daily operations
  • Document functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases
  • Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives
  • Perform gap analysis as is vs. to be
  • Writing and reviewing QA and UAT test scripts
  • Managing UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff
  • Preparation of user documentation and training documentation as necessary
  • Engage in change control procedures
  • Perform as a core team member and participate in ERP project "Project Evolve" initiatives
  • Document systems procedures to facilitate training
  • Coordinate with System Integration partner for extensions and other changes requiring code changes
  • Coordinate with ERP Vendor for any changes required within the core ERP system
  • Coordinate with the Application Managed Services provide on day to day issues
  • Analyze data for gaps and quality issues

Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related degree
  • 7+ years experience in business analysis
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience within one of the five end-to-end process areas
  • In depth knowledge of ERP best practices specifically in Distribution Industry
  • Strong Business Process re-engineering and documentation skills (Experience with process mapping in Visio required).
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment (SOX, PCI, etc)
  • Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio).
  • Hands-on application configuration experience
  • Basic understanding of SQL and Reporting / Analytics software
  • Experience creating and executing unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans
  • Experience working within Agile Teams

Preferred:

  • 3+ years experience in a modern ERP system
  • 3+ years experience working with as business modelling tool such as Orbus
  • Project Management experience a plus
