The Software Engineer will work with the engineering team to build and enhance a suite of consumer facing websites. As part of the engineering team, you will contribute your expertise in software design & architecture using agile practices. As a team player, you are passionate about continuously improving our processes, practices and technology stack.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Build out fast, responsive websites that are optimized for frictionless user experience with a consumer facing website.
  • Work closely with the product owner and software engineer manager to develop and enhance websites based on an agreed roadmap and execute using Agile SDLC.
  • Incorporate inputs from marketing, UX team, SEO & optimization teams to A/B test and continuously evolve consumer facing websites.
  • Monitor the performance of the applications with a focus on uptime & fast response time.
  • Work in an Agile Scrum team to participate and deliver sprint objectives.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree with experience of 5+ years hands-on software development.
  • Expertise in building consumer facing websites using Javascript based frameworks such as ReactJS framework and associated libraries like Redux and Next.JS.
  • Proven ability to build web applications and content rich sites using a CMS.
  • Proficiency in the following areas: OOP using .NET or Java, CSS, HTML5, Cloud Technologies, CI/CD, MVC, RDBMS

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiar with Marketing concepts like A/B Testing, SEO, analytics, conversion rates, campaign monitoring, email marketing etc
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud, NewRelic, Optimizely, Headless CMS like Prismic.io
  • Experience building websites in a marketing & sales domain
