What you'll do as a Social Marketing Associate:

  • Assist the CMO and Marketing Manager with the planning, execution, and optimization of acquisition and retention marketing programs.
  • Coordinate on-air promotions, partner offers/advertising, email, social media, and content marketing campaigns including overseeing logistics, coordinating resources, copywriting/proofreading, creating schedules, and building reports.
  • Provide superior customer service to potential customers and current subscribers handling any queries and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Promptly respond to any escalated customer/subscriber issues compiling documents and forwarding information to necessary parties.
  • Recommend new subscriptions or products or help subscribers better engage with their current subscription by identifying relevant features and benefits to them.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with customers/subscribers by using positive language and anticipating their needs.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge of the VSiN's products, services, and customer service policies.
  • Develop, execute, and measure winback campaigns to reactivate churned subscribers.
  • Assist in compiling daily, monthly, quarterly and annual key customer service and marketing reports.
  • When appropriate recommend improvements to marketing related processes to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Performs general administrative office duties, including but not limited to: scheduling meetings, creating agendas, taking minutes, and creating forms and other documents.
  • Performs other job-related duties as requested.

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
  • Friendly and welcoming manner with customers and other members of the marketing team.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and simple manner to customers.
  • Strong command of written and verbal English.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and polite manner in stressful situations.
  • Willingness to cooperate with customers and management to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and problem solving.
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate multiple projects and meet required deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Must be a team player, comfortable and a dynamic and fast paced environment, and detail oriented.
  • Familiarity with content management (CMS) software programs.
  • Intermediate level skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
