Site Reliability Engineer Lead or Manager Remote We are a tech oriented internet publishing company with a solid track record (since 1995) of connecting people on our one of a kind social network. Our team just opened a new office in Bellevue, WA and this role has the option for full remote or hybrid (1 day a week or month) work, what ever you prefer!

--We have an opening for either a Lead or Manager of SRE in addition to IC roles as well--
What You Will Be Doing - Leading / Managing a team of DevOps / SREs
- You will be key to the development of the future of our site as we modernize our infrastructure platform. We are at a critical junction in migrating from hosted datacenters toward cloud native computing.
- Building scripts, tooling, and automation that not only functions well, but scales to meet requirements of tomorrow.
- Working with distributed systems (Small, Large or anywhere in between), including system performance testing, profiling, and tuning

Some of our current projects include:
- Re think the use of infrastructure and our approach to CI/CD
- Re imagine the infrastracture for running our services and sites
- Develop Canary and Blue / Green deployment strategies and implement them
What You Need for this Position - 5+ years working experience
- Team Lead / Management
- Linux/Unix
- AWS (Data & Security services will be a +)
- Terraform or Cloud Formation
- Either one: Python, Ruby, Bash/Shell, Java, or similar

Bonus points for:
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, VPN)
- Logging and monitoring services or infrastructure
