Position Summary

Responsibilities include assembling orders and prepared goods for shipment. Receives and unpacks materials and supplies. Completes shipping and receiving reports. Assists in inspecting, cleaning and packaging product to prepare for shipping.

Principal Responsibilities

• SAP usage to include but is not limited to confirming all production orders, create shipping documents, create production orders for WIP, verify inventory, track shipments, direct shipping, verify and back-flush components and work with the DMO to troubleshoot problems.
• Responsible for all shipping and receiving activities in Mansfield.
• Package and fulfill orders in accordance with customer and in-house procedures, including verifying count, batch #, and labeling.
• Prepares product for shipping, package, label and ensure proper documentation is completed and routed to correct departments or destinations. (Including creation of packing list in SAP)
• Coordinates pickups with carriers, i.e. UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS.
• Determines and verifies that the incoming orders have been filled correctly against the packing list.
• Records receipt of incoming shipments in the receiving log and/or SAP.
• Provides the accounting/purchasing departments with accurate data relative to receipts.
• Work with Customer Service to coordinate customer samples, as needed.
• Provide clerical support to the Mansfield production operations.
• Primary support for annual physical inventory.
• Accepts receives and distributes incoming orders and shipments.
• Completes work in compliance with GMP and ISO regulations and within safety guidelines.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in shipping/receiving in a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Medical device or other regulated industry experience preferred.


Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be well-organized with high attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize workload
• 80% standing/walking/carrying.
• Must be able to use a pallet jack/reacher truck to load/unload trucks and move product through the warehouse
• Must be able to grasp and move objects consistently and regularly
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures
• Sight: Vision must be strong enough to allow employees to successfully complete the intricate nature of work with or without corrective lenses.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of basic rules and regulations of shipping carriers, US & International, preferred
• Consistent lifting: 2-20 lbs. necessary. Max of 70 lbs.
