Holman is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team!

Principle Purpose of Position:

  • Maintain and balance sales tax accounts for assigned states/companies
  • Files sales tax returns for assigned states/companies
  • Set up any new state sales tax registrations
  • Resolve tax notices with various jurisdictions
  • Prepare business license renewals
  • Other daily tasks as assigned - state change letters, correcting invalid locations
  • Address internal and external sales tax questions
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Prepare and submit non-sales tax related government payments
  • Serves as the first line of support for issues/inquiries prior to escalating to management
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Training:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
    • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

    Relevant Work Experience:
      • 1-5 years of accounting experience
      • Breadth and depth of expertise in a technical or functional area; knowledge of work processes and tools is generally limited to own area of responsibility or department
      • Reviewing and improving analytics processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security

      Pay:

      We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $49,040.00 - $71,105.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
