Summary:

Do you enjoy installing advanced security solutions for customers? Do you thrive on challenging yourself to stay informed of trends in the security industry? If so, this may be a great career choice for you! As a Senior Systems Technician, you'll be tasked with installing and/or servicing more complex security systems in commercial customer settings. You'll work closely with our outside sales team to ensure our customers receive the highest level of professional care from start to finish. Our goal is to give each customer a personalized experience tailored to their specific needs and you'll play an important part in that experience. What You'll Do:

  • Install more complex residential and commercial solutions including wired and wireless systems.
  • Actively participate in company initiatives such as securing referrals and upselling.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Provide positive reinforcement of programs and initiatives to peers.
  • As new products/solutions are introduced, serve as mentor to junior technicians and share learned technical information to improve individual and branch capabilities.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years field experience or equivalent technical education or certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of life safety and home automation equipment experience
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
  • More advanced knowledge and experience with hand & power tools & ladders
  • Performs task with minimal errors
  • Customer Service & Communications Skills
  • Detail Oriented & Attention to Detail
  • Thought Provoking
  • NICET Fire Level I - Preferred
  • Possess strong technical aptitude.
  • Ability to engage others through active listening.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficient understanding of the hardware and panel wiring of the primary manufacturers used by your home branch. This includes residential and commercial security, fire alarm systems and Evac, Analog and IP video products and systems, and basic access control products and systems.
