About the Role

In this role, you will work in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and fast paced environment focused on creating the most inclusive candidate experience for one of the largest apparel brands in the world. The TA Specialist is the backbone of the TA team. You will work in a way that positively impacts the credibility, effectiveness/efficiency, and overall reputation of the Global TA team by creating thoughtful and well-organized experiences for talent & business partners throughout the interview journey. The Specialist is an ambassador for Gap Inc. brands every step of the way and will play a critical role in helping to attract and hire the best talent. Working in close partnership with Gap Inc. leaders, HR, Equality + Belonging and Communications leaders, you will support a team that ensures our candidates and employees have the best interview experience in retail. More specifically, you will be part of the talent acquisition team who hires for our Product, Customer, Commerce functions across the Brands as well as Executive Hiring across the Gap Inc. Portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Amplify the company hiring vision and culture to inspire a diverse pool of talent to join Gap Inc.
  • In alignment with our Gap Inc. Hiring Service Level Agreement, you will drive a consistent and inclusive candidate and interview experience. Serves as a primary point of contact for candidates and business partners throughout the interview process, and works with the Talent Acquisition team to identify and create opportunities that will enhance strategic initiatives, hiring logistics, and candidate end to end management.
  • Strategically deliver on talent needs in support of Gap Inc TA Goals and initiatives.
  • Seek out and leverage industry, competitor, and other business trends to inform the advancement of your work.
  • Own all candidate pre and post employment processing and to ensure we are compliant with company policies and procedures (e.g., background administration, reimbursements, relocation authorizations, retaining of signed documentation).
  • Participate in projects and assignments with diverse scope
  • Drives development and maintenance of in-depth analytics and reporting to drive staffing insights and hiring information for Gap Inc. Brand and Executive Talent Acquisition (monthly, quarterly and year end reporting for Brand TA, Executive Search and total VP+ hiring metrics.
  • Maintains Global Talent Acquisition internal shared data sites with most up to date documents.
  • Conducts weekly update meetings with recruiters and participates in meetings with hiring managers in a consultative manner by communicating confidently and informatively.
  • Manages travel and candidate expense reporting.
  • Administrative support with global mobility and immigration matters in support of VP+ hiring.

  • Deep curiosity and knowledge of the external market and shifts within retail or relevant industries
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), social media platforms and aptitude for navigating data analytics platforms.

Salary Range: $71,500 - $91,100 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
