Walker and Dunlop (W&D) is searching for an energetic, innovative and productive senior Salesforce administrator responsible for the success of our core Salesforce implementation. This Salesforce instance serves as our enterprise CRM and core workflow application assisting our entire loan life cycle process, facilitating over $28 billion in commercial real estate property transactions per year. The role requires strong collaboration with application development teams, product owners and key stakeholders. This position demands a well-organized, action-oriented team player with exceptional time management and communication skills to support multiple initiatives simultaneously.

What you will be doing:

  • Work as part of our dynamic Salesforce team throughout the software development life cycle
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, object/application configuration, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations
  • Build features in Salesforce utilizing tools such as Flows, Process Builder, Workflow, Custom Objects and Formula Fields
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure company-wide system stability
  • Actively engage in an Agile environment with a focus on iterative and test-driven methodologies
  • Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality/time-to-market imperatives
  • Assists with user story grooming to better define technical configuration changes and translate business intent
  • Work with users to identify root cause of issues
  • Communicate issues, risks and concerns proactively to management
  • Keep track of Salesforce releases and identify impacted services and new features

The education and experience we're looking for:
  • Minimum 4 years of practical experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Bachelor's degree or related experience
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required
  • Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder Certification preferred

What skills you should have:
  • Pardot experience required
  • Sales Cloud/Service Cloud experience required
  • Marketing Cloud experience preferred
  • Experience working in an Agile (Scrum, Kanban) environment
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce Lightning platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, flows, process builder, validation rules and other content of high complexity
  • Experience in building email templates, reports, dashboards, list views and sharing rules
  • Experience installing and configuring App Exchange products
  • Experience using dataloader/relevant tools to bulk update Salesforce data
  • Strong understanding of custom metadata and data management abilities
  • Strong knowledge on connected apps and OWD configurations
  • Strong understanding of best practices and functionality
  • Able to utilize Salesforce automation tools to build out complex business processes
  • Effective decision-making and critical thinking skills for problem identification and solution
  • Ability to be flexible, set priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly to individuals with varied backgrounds and skill levels
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Passionate in providing excellent customer service
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented while consistently looking at the big picture
  • Experience with Box integration and/or Conga Composer is a plus
