Your Role

EMD Electronics in Chandler, AZ is hiring a Senior Project Coordinator. As a Senior Project Coordinator in Delivery Systems and Services (DS&S), you will play a crucial role in actively driving our strong business growth through the execution of high priority projects in collaboration with multiple DS&S disciplines such as Engineering, Commercial, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Quality.

In this role you will drive continuous improvements, optimize our supply network, and assist in managing process improvements throughout the DS&S business. Based on your expertise and a solid understanding of semiconductor customers, you will assist in leading interdisciplinary project stakeholders to achieve our quality and growth targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the establishment, execution, and oversight of a project's operations (i.e., budget forecasting margin, billing/invoicing, purchase orders, compliance etc.)
  • Metrics and Reporting including metrics risk/issue management
  • Support the tracking/measurement and progress against established KPI's and matrices
  • Help create inter-departmental service level agreements (SLA)
  • Assist PMO Director with Project Governance creation and requirements
  • Support the establishment execution and oversight of a project's governance (i.e., stakeholder management communication, change management, scope management teamwork environment on-boarding etc.)
  • Assist Project Managers with Estimation, Planning and Quoting (RFPRFQ) as needed when using contract manufacturer partners
  • Support the establishment and oversight of project delivery estimation and planning of team resources and timeline
  • Support tracking issues/risk management, running meetings, meeting minutes and actions logs, organizing events, status reporting etc.
  • Establish and build relationships with client and other stakeholders for the project
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the PMO (best practices networking standards training tools etc.)
  • Monitor and support Project Management tools and process compliance
  • Assist Project Managers with preparation of lessons learned opportunities at project completion
  • Other miscellaneous administrative duties

This role may include travel up to 25%.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of project coordination or administrative experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CAPM or PMP® certification
  • 2+ years of experience with SAP or ERPMRP tools
  • 2+years of experience with MS Project and Accolade or equivalent for stages and gates process
  • Semiconductor market knowledge
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional environment
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders across hierarchies in a matrix organization
  • Highly structured working style
  • Sense of urgency
  • Independence, assertiveness, and ability to make decisions quickly and confidently, with skills for people interaction and cross functional teamwork across departments and locations worldwide and with external customers
  • Planning and scheduling, Problem Solving Skills including root cause analysis, Project Management, Time Management
  • Strong negotiation skills - able to influence without direct authority to achieve desired outcomes
