A day in the life

In this Program Manager position you'll play a role in making global commerce sustainable, renewable and electrified. Located on the Energy, Mobility and Sustainability Technologies Team you will facilitate and drive strategic Programs and Projects. You will perform critical Project management duties, such as establishing deliverables and timelines, planning for resource needs, defining scope and success criteria, managing forecasting and budgeting, and scheduling discovery and working sessions. You will lead internal stakeholder relationships and ensure that we celebrate success and communicate risk. Reporting to the Vice President for Energy and Sustainability Technology, you will manage Prologis' development and deployment of the technology that supports our rapidly growing Solar, Storage, Electric Vehicle, Sustainability, and Energy Services Business'.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage projects with an overall, program-level capability plan (i.e. an aggregate-level view from each initiative). Prepare project proposals, timelines, and budget estimates. Remove obstacles/barriers and provide coaching or guidance to team members as needed.
  • Create and manage multiple capability initiative project plans in-parallel, each of which should include: Project scope (i.e. a set of near-term goals to accomplish the capability roadmap), Tasks/deliverables to accomplish, Dependencies and critical path, Key deadline and milestone dates, and Budget estimates versus actual project spend.
  • Lead our agile initiatives including ensuring that each team schedules delivery meetings and ceremonies, including: Daily stand-ups, Backlog grooming sessions, Planning meetings, Business and technical demos, and Retrospectives.
  • Participate in cross-capability "scrum-of-scrum" meetings as the capability team representative to discuss project statuses and align on upcoming priorities/initiatives.
  • Lead communication of team impact, and ensure celebration of team and individual wins. Create and communicate regular status reports to executive stakeholders.
  • Own Team operational ceremonies including team meetings, actions items and dependencies.
  • Lead financial management including annual budgets and monthly financial goals including project financial planning activities across our project portfolio. Ensure that we hit team financial plans.

Building blocks for success

Required:
  • 5 plus years' experience as a Program/Project manager.
  • Interest and experience in Agile and Scrum leadership.
  • Demonstrated communication, stakeholder management and internal marketing capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and manage work with offshore development and QA resources.
  • Proven ability to multitask, and effectively manage/prioritize time across competing activities/resources.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline such as Technology, Business, or Communications.
  • Experience in some aspect of the commercial real estate or energy transformation industries.
  • Experience with project planning and collaboration tools such as JIRA, .Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel or Project, SharePoint, etc.
  • Experience working on Customer Billing Operations, Construction Management, Financial Systems or IoT Device Management initiatives and technologies.
  • Knowledge of system integrations, data modeling and system architecture.

Hiring Salary Range of: $98,000 - $135,000. . Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's locations, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
