Senior Node Developer *Title:* Senior Software Developer
*Location:* Remote to Begin, Hybrid in Bellevue When Office Reopens Next Year
*Salary:* $150,000-$200,000 base (DOE) + bonus

We are a well established and growing SaaS company. We are looking for talented Senior Backend Developers to join our growing and high performing team immediately.

In this role, you will help the development of our new SaaS product and to continuously raise the bar on our operational excellence and engineering practices. This position offers an opportunity to learn a broad range of new skills, technology, and processes. We practice agile methodologies, create sustainable schedules, and our cross-functional teams build strong, collaborative relationships as partners in the delivery of quality solutions.

We are looking for strong engineers to deliver new features for our growing business. You will collaborate as a key stakeholder in the definition, creation, and delivery of our solutions. You will be responsible for designing and developing web services, components, scripts and applications that enable incremental delivery of powerful cloud-based and on-premise customer solutions. You must be comfortable in an agile environment and love working closely across the team so that testing is seamlessly integrated into our overall development process. You must have an agile mindset and must be mindful of striking the balance between time to market as well as high quality code.

An ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and is a self starter who is excited about technology.

We are hiring for BOTH Backend Developers and Full Stack Developers.

This is a full-time, permanent position in Bellevue, WA. We are currently working fully remote right now but are expecting to open our offices again sometime in the next six months. You will be able to work in a hybrid format at that time. (We are also hiring in three other areas if another office location would interest you, please email to inquire.)

What You Will Be Doing -Dive deep on technical requirements to understand end-to-end needs
-Identify and try solution options that are simple, extensible, and maintainable
-Document, review and collaborate on implementation choices and decisions
-Use your test-driven engineering skills to work closely with the delivery team to speed solutions to completion
-Refactor as needed to always leave things better than you found them
-Review and comment on designs and code of others
-Support integration and problem solving with members of other delivery teams
-Participate in the on-call process to quickly troubleshoot and solve customer problems
-Aggressively take and resolve bugs to keep our code base clean and trouble free
-Exhibit discipline towards agile processes always thinking holistically about team goals
-Collaboration and team leadership
What You Need for this Position *Must Haves:*
-5+ years professional software development experience in a SaaS environment
-Solid JavaScript programming experience including common design patterns, data structures and object-oriented principles
-Fluent with Node.js
-Experience in event driven architecture
-NoSQL experience
-Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
-Keen attention to detail and a high level of commitment
