Job Responsibilities
Pennoni Associates is current seeking a Senior Municipal Engineer in our Newark, NJ office with experience consistent, but not limited to:

• Managing capital improvement projects for municipal clients,
  
• reviewing applications before planning and zoning boards,
  
• performing duties of a municipal engineer and representing land use boards as board engineer. 
  
• Supervising staff engineers in the design of engineering projects including roadways, drainage, water, wastewater, utilities and site development
  
• Preparing proposals and budget estimates

Required Attributes:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  
• 12+ years related experience
  
• 4-7 years management experience
  
• NJPE license required
  

Preferred Attributes:

• Certified Municipal Engineer (CME) New Jersey
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• Ability to work independently within a design group setting
