RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is looking for a Senior Manual Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join their team in Provo, UT. If you have at least 6 years of experience and have experience in Payment Gateway integrations testing, apply now!Responsibilities:- Senior Manual QA Tester will develop and execute test plans to ensure software releases' quality, aligning with business requirements and technical specifications
- Write detailed test cases using XRAYs or similar tools for effective software functionality validation and defect identification
- Create comprehensive release notes, testing reports, test cases, and plans for transparent communication and knowledge sharing within the team
- Identify opportunities for test automation, working towards automating test cases to enhance efficiency and maintainability
- As a Senior Manual QA Tester, you will implement strategies to boost QA velocity by optimizing testing processes, tools, and collaboration with developers and stakeholders
- Effectively communicate with business users and team members to understand requirements, report issues, and collaborate on solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of experience with Manual QA Testing
- Experience in Payment Gateway integration testing, with a strong grasp of payment processing intricacies, security protocols, and compliance standards such as PCI-DSS
- Prior testing involvement in migration projects, particularly within payment gateways or financial systems
- Understanding of protocols like HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and payment APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP)
- Proficient in API testing methodologies, including validating functionality, performance, and security aspects of RESTful and SOAP-based APIs
- Proficiency in conducting regression testing for .NET services upgrades to identify and mitigate potential compatibility issues with existing applications
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in testing processes, especially in critical environments like payment processing
- Ability to independently collaborate with various stakeholders, including Business owners and Development teams, to prepare detailed test cases
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate changes' impact on the ecosystem and anticipate potential risks or challenges
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
