AMLaw 100 law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their growing office in Century City. The ideal Litigation Paralegal candidate will possess 10+ years of civil litigation experience in a mid-size or large defense firm and proficiency with all aspects of the litigation lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Conducting research to support legal proceedings
- Propounding and responding to discovery (interrogatories, requests for admissions, request for production, subpoenas, etc.)
- Managing trial preparation including trial exhibits, charts, trial notebook, subpoenas and page lines
- Assist in creating and maintaining case chronologies, indices and case files
- Cite checking and proofreading pleadings and briefs
- Coordinating document productions
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of civil litigation defense experience as a paralegal
- Solid understanding of civil litigation (state and federal rules and deadlines)
- Experience in Commercial/Business Litigation, Entertainment, and/or Labor & Employment is a plus but not required
- Someone who is deadline driven and detail oriented
- Experience supporting a case during trial (either attending or working the war room) is a plus but not required
- Experience with Relativity, Concordance or Summation preferred

Salary range: $100k - $135k annually depending on experience
