RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist.Summary:As a Senior IT Support Specialist, you will act as a primary point of escalation for complex IT issues, offering your expertise to ensure the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure and support processes. This role will serve as a key point of escalation for IT support issues, or assist with the daily ticket flow, providing high-level technical assistance both on-site and remotely. This includes troubleshooting complex desktop, network, and system problems, as well as implementing router and firewall configurations. The Senior IT Support Specialist will maintain detailed documentation of issues resolved and processes developed, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity within the Service Desk Team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or
equivalent level experience
  • CCNA level with 5+ years of experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in an IT-related field, with a proven track record of technical proficiency and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in Azure, Active Directory, PowerShell, Microsoft Exchange,
router/firewall configuration and management, Microsoft Windows, and printer setup and configuration
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting complex IT issues and devising
effective solutions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and effective support to users, as well as collaborate with team members on IT projects and processes
  • A proactive team player who can work collaboratively within the IT department and across
departments to improve IT support and infrastructure
  • Experience with CISCO networking
  • Proven ability to design and maintain LAN environment
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot IPsec tunnels for secure network communication


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
