Job Summary:

The Sr. Human Resources Coordinator is a point of contact for providing direct support to employees on a broad range of HR programs through the entire employee life cycle from onboarding through offboarding. The Sr. Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for coordination and efficiencies of HR processes including invoices, professional license verification, new hire support, and advertisements. This is a non-exempt position.

Essential Functions of Position:

  • Performs a wide variety of responsible clerical, administrative, and office support duties in support of the Human Resources Department.
  • Responds to employment verification requests, salary and employees request for copy of personnel file, and other requests for information.
  • Performs annual reviews of credentialing and verification of licenses Nurses (RN & LPN), medical staff, allied health professionals and licensed clinical professionals.
  • Coordinates the MBTA program.
  • Maintains payments and tracking of Nursing Program and Simmons Program.
  • Requests and prepares Check Requests and the Vacation Buybacks.
  • Submits new hire information to Department of Revenue.
  • Maintains the Referral Bonus list paying out the bonus to referring employees once the new hire has completed the requirements.
  • Inputs employee performance evaluations into Dayforce and scan into employee file.
  • Post positions to job boards and online platforms.
  • Assists with onboarding paperwork including background checks as necessary.
  • Supports the HR recruitment team in administrative functions.
  • Posts job advertising and keeps track of expiration dates
  • Oversees employment verifications
  • Submits employee reimbursement check requests
  • Verifies professional licenses.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • Strong Organizational Skills and extremely detail oriented.
  • BA preferred with three to five years of office experience.
  • Strong Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Google Documents.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
  • An acceptable CORI (criminal record assessment).
  • A COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement of the position. One COVID-19 shot is acceptable, contingent on the individual receiving the second shot within the allotted time frame.
