(Contingent upon available funding): 14.25 - 18.00, Hourly Work Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Veterinary Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University is seeking a Sr. Financial Assistant. This position works closely with the VCS administrative team and is responsible for all financial and budgetary processes pertaining to travel expenses/reimbursements, purchasing (P-card, OkCorral, etc.), inventory/surplus, etc.

Specific functions of the position include coordinating travel arrangements for faculty and students, processing travel requests and reimbursements, and maintaining records in accordance with OSU policies and procedures. Also responsible for purchasing processes, budget development, inventory/surplus records, etc.

Lift, stand on ladder, stoop and bend, and work overhead and below waist level occasionally. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Required Qualifications:

High School/GED and five years of related experience.

Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Must be self-motivated and capable of accomplishing tasks with minimal oversight and supervision. Must have MS Office experience, specifically with Excel and Word Confidentiality required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with AIRS, inventory, OK Corral, and P-card processing.
