Team Background:
The Video Reporting team is seeking the following roles to help advance its insight reporting for their Product and Technology team. The Video Reporting team provides insights into customers' usage pattern, feature usage, application utilization and other customer-based metrics for IP Video (streaming platform), set-top box (traditional cable boxes), News, and digital ads. Our team is comprised of five data engineers, three front-end/insights developer, and two managers.

ETL Developer Duties:

• Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of ETL processes
• Analyze data coming from different sources for data integrity
• Coordinate with front-end developers on data model and requirements
• Involved or own performance tuning at various intervals of the development process
• Update/modify SQL queries or script
• Investigate issues, propose and implement solutions
• Prepare documentation for reference

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of SQL/Hive experience
• BASH coding experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to details
• Knowledge of BI reporting and dashboarding tools such as: Cognos, tableau or like tools
• Must be able to coach and mentor junior members on the team
• Experience interfacing with multiple technology domain partners, including offshore vendor teams and internal groups

Candidates must be able to create ETL pipelines from scratch with SQL. Candidates who are accustomed to using tools like Informatica or SQL SSIS are not a fit for this position
