Imagine One Technology & Management is currently seeking several Senior Engineers "contingent" on award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team. This work supports the U.S. Navy and will be performed in Patuxent River, Maryland.

The Senior Engineers will fulfill a variety of separate, specialized areas.
All Senior Engineers will require a minimum of 10 years of experience providing engineering support to the DoD. Additionally, there are individual specialized requirements for each Senior Engineer position.

Position 1:Experience in software verification, validation, and requirements development for software supporting aeronautical operational flight programs.Highly Desired Experience: Experience with Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE), technical - analyses/documentation of Operational Flight Programs software, and familiarity with DO-178C standards quality assurance.
Position 2:Experience in aeronautical navigational databases and mission planning systems.Highly Desired Experience: Experience in tailoring Digital Aeronautical Flight Information Files for various platforms. Experience with mission planning systems such as Joint Mission Planning System or Next Gen Mission Planning System.
Position 3:At least ten years of experience of hardware/software engineering with five years' experience supporting Navy/Marine Corp avionics architectures relating to the Tactical Aircraft Moving Map Capability (TAMMAC) and Radar Altimeters (RADALT) capabilities.
Position 4:At least ten years of experience with flight test and systems engineering with five years' experience with Naval avionics architectures relating to the Advanced Data Transfer System (ADTS), TAMMAC and RADALT capabilities.
Position 5:At least seven years of experience with mission computing utilizing engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, and test military mission systems. Also applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, hardware development, software development or acquisition and resource management. Demonstrated knowledge of Open Architecture standards, NAVAIR SETR process, future display technologies, and NAVAIR Flight Test processes. Highly Desired Experience: At least seven years of experience with CMCD based hardware and software mission computers and common Avionics Architecture Systems with unique avionics architecture. Specifically with platforms such as F-18, V-22, MQ-25, T-45, E2D. Demonstrated experience with adaptive layer frameworks and software containerization to develop and maintain adaptable software applications on CMCD MCA's.
Position 6:Demonstrated knowledge in area of cyber engineering, security related documents and DD-1494 spectrum authorization package submissions. Experience in applying systems engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, and design, develop, implement, test and evaluation for Naval Aviation communication systems. Candidate must have experience in reviewing and preparing engineering and technical documentation such as Security Classification Guides (SCG) and Program Protection Plans (PPP). Candidate must have experience in applying systems engineering and cyber engineering experience to perform Risk Management Framework (RMF) analysis, frequency spectrum assessments, develop program protection plans and other associated documentation. At least ten years of experience in a "Relevant Engineering/Science Field including cyber related activities and RMF processes." Highly Desired Experience: At least seven years of experience developing RMF packages for avionics systems and DD-1494 frequency authorization packages. Top Secret Security Clearance
Position 7:A minimum of 15 years of waveform / Radio Frequency (RF) experience to include: Experience in waveform / Radio Frequency (RF) research and development involving hardware and software development; modeling and simulation; system test and evaluation; routing of traffic and message translation; hosting database and other software that enables end user devices; provide oversight for the development of a follow on version of the gateway, i.e. the Mesh Network Manager (MNM), and the Software Reconfigurable Payload (SRP) radio that includes an overall Size, Weight, Power & Cost (SWaP-C) reduction. Experience using existing platform sensors to provide a situational awareness capability for fixed and rotary wing aircraft by stitching multiple missile warning mid-wave infrared staring sensors to provide real time imagery for crewmembers. Imagery products are displayed via onboard end user devices, e.g. the MAGTAB, as well as filtrated to off-board consumers via a tactical data link to include production efforts involving multiple avionic components, power amplifiers, Transformer - Rectifier Unit (TRU), filters, wiring, fan trays, etc. for a system which exploits existing sensors to provide a situational awareness to operators. Experience in the development and demonstration of multi-domain (personal, enterprise and classified) bring your own device (BYOD) architecture including data-in-transit encryption software for classified information and a Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliant mobile device Manager, e.g. Samsung Android end user devices to include Android Knox Container technology, acquiring an Interim Authority-To-Operate (IATO) and Authority-To-Operate (ATO) to support architecting tactical WiFi access points including data-in-transit encryption software coupled with long haul radios, e.g. PRC-117G / PRC-152A, for employment onboard aircraft, ground tactical vehicles and ships.


Educational Requirements for all Senior Engineers:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
    • Candidates who do not satisfy the degree requirement may still qualify with either:
      • Associate's degree along with 4 additional years of specialized experience; or
      • High School diploma/GED along with 6 additional years of specialized experience.

Security Requirements for all Senior Engineers
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • ACTIVE DoD SECRET CLEARANCE required, unless otherwise noted (TS).
