Purpose

The Senior Cost Controller is a critical role within the Onshore Business focusing on the delivery of substantial project cost controls
within the offshore project, working with multinational and multifunctional team ensuring that AVG's/ Iberdrola position is suitably
protected at any agreements. Development and implementation of specifications, processes, global procedures and standards of the onshore industry aimed at the
standardization of the criteria that govern budget control, for the US projects in the onshore Business in Offer, development and
execution phase, ensuring the application of lessons learned and the transfer of knowledge, giving transversal technical support to the
Projects in the implementation of the standards described. The individual must be able to manage and assess accurately an enormous
amount of information, identifying opportunities and early warnings on any potential deviation.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible of implement cost controlling tools and provide expert analysis for a pipeline of projects, during its the
preFID, Execution and Commissioning phases. On top of this, the candidate will not only be responsible for managing
the Cost Control Procedure but will also ensure the correct introduction and implementation of the procedure to the entire project organizing
workshops, training sessions, etc... The candidate will deal with complex contracts.

Skills and Requirements

Experience +5 years in Cost Management, ideally for offshore wind projects

• Degree qualified or equivalent qualifications / experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence at various levels of an organisation
• Proven significant experience of IT applications (SAP, Microsoft DocuSign Envelope ID: 15EB962A-E698-41DB-9AE4-AD276BFBD096 Office, Document Management Systems)
• Proven significant experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams
• Accurate, discipline, data analysis expert
• Previous experience in Procurement processes.

Planning & Organising

• Prepare project cost control procedure
• Acting as a central resource coordinating inputs across the project from every Activity Manager, managing the cost control of the project.
• Liaising with the 'Project Manager', 'Project Planner', 'Risk Manager' and "Change Manager" in order to understand project issues and anticipate (and mitigate) their impact on the project's budget;
• Prepare project Baseline reviews
• Define, implement and resource the appropriate organisation structure to ensure excellent project cost control
• Responsible for coordination and management of multi-functional and multi-national internal & external personnel within the Project cost Controls function.
