Mercer is recruiting for aproven andexperienced Senior Client Manager in our New York City office.

As a Senior Client Manager

What can you expect?

  • To be a recognized master within the organization in Client Relationship Management, a thought leader in an area of expertise who is accountable for maintaining and developing a large book of business.
  • To be accountable for growing, serving and maintaining satisfied business relationships, a large profitable book of business and acquiring new business within an industry or specialty.
  • To be responsible for designing strategic business and sales plan for a portfolio of clients and prospects.
  • Conducts complex financial analyses to report and relay financial performance and return on products and services for use by existing and potential relationships.
  • Understands the customer's business objectives and leads the development and presentation of custom solutions to address the account needs accounting for risk, conditions, coverage and decides on the most effective pricing of services.
  • Responsible for growing and maintaining relationships and ensuring overall service needs are met, addressing escalated issues and miscellaneous concerns to remain in positive standing with all existing and potential relationships and preserve credibility.
  • Engages senior, officer level colleagues in client organizations to sustain and enhance existing and future relationships.
  • Becomes a visible leader in an industry or specialty and actively participates in industry associations, organizations, boards and charities, as appropriate.

What you need to have:

  • Minimum of 10years' experience, preferably in a consulting environment
  • HR functional expertise including strategy and implementation in the areas of talent, health, retirement, digital transformation and change
  • Project management, financial, communication, and strong business acumen
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or related field, MBA preferred
