We are looking for a natural storyteller that can help establish our QSC brand promise and mobilize our internal QSC employees to live our brand promise throughout every touchpoint within the organization. We want our employees, customers and partners to know what our brand stands for and how we will integrate it into every aspect of our business. You'll also collaborate with the HR, Platform/Product Marketing, and QSC ProAudio teams to ensure the Q-SYS and QSC ProAudio brands stay true to our respective brand promises.

In this role, you'll work collaboratively with the Product & Platform and International marketing teams on the voice, positioning & messaging of our Q-SYS brand to create impactful brand-focused campaigns across our portfolio of audio, video and control products and services. You will actively monitor and measure brand activation and awareness across the globe and maintain the brand center & compliance. This role will lead a team of two in-house designers and also lead external brand agency relationships.

Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Corporate Identity:

  • Be the keeper of the brand's purpose & promise, serving as its steward, advocate and storyteller inside and outside the organization.
  • Facilitate the development and execution of a global brand and corporate marketing strategy for the Q-SYS brand that encompasses and leverages our core values, strategic vision, and unique differentiators and regional differences.
  • Provide brand & corporate marketing leadership by working in partnership with the Product and Platform marketing team to develop, monitor and manage the Q-SYS division brand strategy including identity, messaging, visuals.
  • Listen to and leverage the global voice & experiences of our employees, customers and partners to modernize and elevate the existing Q-SYS brand with internal employees, customers and partners while ensuring regional and cultural differences are considered.
  • Lead a creative team of two in-house graphic designers that are focused on designing creative and marketing assets for brand, corporate and partner marketing teams and manage relationships with external vendors.
  • Work with internal, creative & agency teams to define and consistently uphold brand visual and copy standards at every customer touchpoint supporting teams to concept, plan, and execute highly compelling creative across all media while also infusing strategy, training the team on best practices for creative within different channels to drive business impact.
  • Collaborate and co-develop the Q-SYS brand guidelines with our Product/Platform and international teams to ensure global consistency of our company and product brand.
  • Develop a brand monitoring & management process that includes brand perception audits, brand sentiment and brand usage and adherence to brand guidelines by internal teams and outside partners.
  • Coordinate with QSC ProAudio marketing team on brand monitoring and management research, tools and processes.
  • Work with our digital marketing team to craft brand awareness & media campaigns using marketing elements that highlight the voice of our customer and partners to tell compelling and experience-focused stories.
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing, sales, IT/innovation team, and support teams to develop customer personas & customer journeys that help identify brand marketing needs and support the customer lifecycle.
  • Create frameworks and other internal enablement to ensure a compelling and consistent message in all content, building scalable materials and training that can be adopted throughout the company and regions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to bring key corporate brand initiatives to life across Product and Platform, Alliance & Ecosystem, HR/Talent Acquisition, Sales and our international teams.
Corporate Communications:

  • Work with internal teams such as executive team and HR to develop employer/employee branding marketing materials and templates including the employee handbook, QSC corporate presentation, new employee onboarding presentations, department newsletters, etc.
  • Operationalize QSC's evolving corporate messaging through our website and corporate/executive pitches, working with subject matter experts and QSC's executive team.
  • Work with employee branding stakeholders to develop internal communications strategies to help strengthen the QSC brand.
  • Own QSC Internal Communications and the Brand Center establishing a clear visual identity and voice.
  • Provide messaging, graphics, and collateral for internal stakeholders and key initiatives/committees. department newsletters
  • Own/manage Internal Communications. Manage internal Brand Center.
  • Provide messaging, graphics, and collateral for key stakeholders such as HR and key company initiatives/committees.

Research, Insights & Tools
  • On a regular basis, collect and share actionable and pertinent brand insights to help guide, inform, and improve our global brand plans and efforts
  • Own brand tracking capabilities by conducting brand awareness research studies that help track brand familiarity
  • Utilize web monitoring tools to track the health of Q-SYS and QSC brand perception and reputation
  • Establish internal brand engagement processes and create monitoring processes to ensure brand consistency
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of previous brand & marketing experience required along with creative agency experience (employed at or working with creative agencies). Provide portfolio of brand work for review during interview process.
  • 2-4 years leading creative and/or marketing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire & mentor a team and lead cross-functional teams and effectively influence an extended organization.
  • Deep knowledge of the creative development process and extensive background in working with agencies and creative teams on brand strategy, research, and campaign development.
  • Prior experience leveraging consumer insights to influence brand strategy & execution.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results oriented with high energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to contribute in a team environment.
  • High emotional intelligence and verbal and written communication skills that educate and influence senior leaders; ability to "manage up".
  • Can-do spirit with an aptitude for creative-thinking and problem-solving.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Teams.
  • Working knowledge of creative software tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, etc. preferred
