Senior Accountant
Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC

Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Senior Accountant to join their team on a contract to hire basis.

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies.
• Monitor budget variances and provide insightful analysis to management.
• General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all journal entries and reconciliations. Maintain chart of accounts and implement necessary adjustments.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow projections and optimize working capital. Recommend strategies to improve cash flow efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
Thorough understanding of GAAP and proficiency in financial reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Proficiency in ERP accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
