Position Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Scrum Master with strong Project Management skills and a passion for driving team automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading Agile practices, removing impediments, and actively contributing to the automation efforts within our dynamic team.

Day-to Day-Duties and Responsibilities:

Working in our hybrid work design you will:

  • Act as a servant leader, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment in both Scrum and Kanban settings
  • Facilitate and lead Scrum ceremonies, emphasizing the importance of automation in the development process
  • Collaborate with Kanban teams to maintain workflow visualization, optimize processes, and ensure work items move efficiently through the Kanban board
  • Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure project goals and objectives are met
  • Identify and remove obstacles that hinder automation efforts and impact overall team productivity
  • Implement and champion Agile best practices while focusing on incorporating automation into the development lifecycle
  • Monitor progress, provide timely feedback, escalate, and communicate as appropriate to maintain schedules and progress
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage dependencies across multiple projects

What You Bring to the Team:

It's an important role that covers many skills. This position requires a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or equivalent work experience. Five (5) or more years of experience as a Scrum Master. Scrum Master Certification (CSM) is preferred. Experience in financial technology is preferred.

Additional skills should include:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Agile development and software development programs using both Scrum and Kanban Methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, to develop stakeholder relationships and earn the trust of colleagues
  • Ability to communicate/coordinate effectively with all levels of management as well as with outside vendors
  • Self-starter, who initiates action and follow-through on tasks
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Possesses analytical thinking and mathematical skills
  • Team player
  • May act as a "lead" or first-level supervisor
