Scientific Writer
Absorption

Absorption Systems, a Pharmaron Company is seeking a Scientific Writer to support our bioanalytical assay development and validation services. The technical writer will support the timely execution of studies through the writing of protocols, reports and study-related documentation in coordination with the scientific and operations teams. The scientific writer may also be responsible to data review.

Job Responsibilities

• Writing and editing of protocols, and reports, for GLP and non-GLP studies
• Writing and reviewing of GMP protocols and reports
• Review and posting of documents to document management system
• Data processing and organization for reports
• Tracking of metrics to improve production and efficiency
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, operational, and administrative procedures
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Management

Education and Experience

• Degree (B.S or M.S.) in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, pharmacology or related field
• 3 to 5 years of work experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, pharmacology or related field
• Working knowledge of bioanalytical and immunoassays
• Working knowledge of GLP/GMP
• Position requires strong professional communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation,
• Strong grasp of grammar and language
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

• Effective verbal and written communications
• Efficient use of time and resources to accomplish objectives

Position is based Woburn MA. Pay is commensurate with experience.
