Description: Our client is currently seeking a Scala Developer II on W2 to work on a fully remote schedule based on PST hours.
This is a W2 ONLY position.
Position Title: Scala Developer
Required Skills: Scala 3, AWS
Nice to have skills: additional AWS services (DynamoDB, EC2, S3, CloudFormation)
Location: 100% REMOTE (Supporting PST hours)
Interview Process: 2 rounds; first is general knowledge, 2nd is a coding challenge within an IDE
Project/Team: Monetization team for clients.
Ideal Candidate:
- This team primarily works on a monetization platform for Fortune 500 business partners
- 17 member team
- Build out new features, scaling infrastructure, enhancements.
- Looking for someone with Big Data experience in a fast-paced environment (Scala 3, AWS required)
- Within AWS they will be using EC2, DynamoDB, etc.
- Highly visible, revenue generating team so this resource will have to be ok working under pressure.
- 100% remote (West Coast preferred, but this team has members across the country) will be working PST hours.
