Job Information

The Sales Operations Specialist, Sr. is responsible for the entire functions of sales operations and supply chains on whole goods business (Excavator, Wheel Loader, and Truck). It includes product planning, product allocation, demand and supply management, yard/inventory management, in-land logistics as well as internal sales of all product line-ups.

This position requires a decent understanding of the product/option configuration, demand trend on each product/option in the marketplace by closely collaborating with the sales team and analyzing historical market/sales trends.

Also, this role supports key business decisions of the CEO by analyzing sales and inventory data. It requires strong ownership of sales strategy consolidating all different districts in North America with the balanced perspective so that the most relevant advice can be proposed.

This position collaborates with cross-functional organizations in DINA and counterparts in global headquarter, Korea. It may require overtime work for communicating with Korea in the evening due to the time difference.

Role & Responsibility

Machine Planning & Sales Operation

• Support sales team to submit their demand forecast by district and product type. Analyze the sales trend to give them an input to complete our 18M rolling demand plan based on historical sales trends and market forecast (Product: Excavator, Wheel Loader, Truck, Log Loader, etc.).
• Collaborate with the global supply chain group in HQ, Korea to get the product allocated and place orders via SAP
• Develop the 5-year sales target to set up long-term demand target
• Responsible for machine allocation to the orders and district manager's demand.
• Coordinate changes of demand and allocation

Inventory Management

• Determine optimal inventory level and manage inventory effectively not to lose sales opportunities as well as to minimize the number of aged inventory.
• Manage an attachment planner to make sure we have an adequate MOH level of attachment as well as less aged attachment product.
• Responsible for the inventory management for adequate asset management and healthy conditions

Reporting

• Support Sales Operations Manager Sr. to create any reporting document regarding sales trend, inventory status, allocation request to HQ, etc.

SCM Project Management

• Support key strategic initiatives to improve the supply chain process
• Project output performance
  

Job Requirement

• Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
• Background in construction equipment industry preferred
• Experienced with supply chain and inventory management
• Knowledgeable with product/options with specific understanding of construction machinery products
• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills
• Ability to recommend and implement process invocations
• Experienced with demand/material planning and order management
• Strong business acumen and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent ability to prioritize multiple assignments under time constraints
• Proven leadership and team development skills
• Applicable knowledge and ability to use ERP system such as SAP
• 5 + years of experience required.
• Travel required: 10 > 15%
• Global Breadth: North America
• Able to support frequent communications over time zones with HQ in South Korea
