The Life Sciences industry is fast-growing and innovative. In recent years, regulations have been created to facilitate new pharmaceutical and medical device product growth while ensuring the highest levels of patient safety.

The Lexis Nexis Reed Tech Life Sciences team provides high-value data conversion, submission, hosting and research solutions to help pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers comply with these growing regulations, and is looking for an equally fast-moving and innovative leader to join the Sales team.

LexisNexis Reed Tech requires employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19.The successful candidate for this role will be required to submit proof of vaccination showing their last dose of a COVID-19 2-dose vaccine or one dose of a single dose vaccine no later than January 4, 2022. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement sales programs to meet the organization's business objectives
  • Must reside in the greater Philadelphia, PA location
  • Plan, direct and coordinate the efforts of sales toward the accomplishment of objectives
  • Manage and is accountable for the performance of a small team of professional associates, or supervisors of business support/operation roles
  • Decisions are guided by policies, resources and business plan; receives moderate guidance from manager
  • Manage a generally homogeneous team; adapt plans and set priorities to meet service and/or operational challenges
  • Responsible for setting employee objectives, conducting performance reviews and making pay recommendations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert

Qualifications:
  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own areas and a working knowledge of other areas
  • Strong business acumen and industry knowledge
  • Experience in setting goals and objectives and providing line of sight for the organization
  • Proven record of managing direct reports and leading teams
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and can provided resolution to complex business problems
  • Skilled in process improvement and impacting efficiencies for the business
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization and external customers
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others
