Route Accounting Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for direct supervision of Data Entry Operators and/or cashier to ensure daily billing is completed in an accurate and timely manner. Monitor employee performance and conduct. Fill in for Office Manager as necessary.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are general duties that an employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

  • Hours begin at 2pm.
  • Accurate entry of all Route Accounting documents, miscellaneous debits and credits.
  • Match case sales with Warehouse personnel before processing Route Accounting final.
  • Match cash deposits totals with Cashier before processing Route Accounting final.
  • Count Company and distributor cash as necessary, with accurate application of verification log.
  • Responsible for ensuring all billing information are downloaded from driver handhelds.
  • Distribution of bills/ and route accounting reports/logs.
  • Delegate work to operators on a daily basis based on volume of work to ensure deadlines.
  • Responsible for making sure that all settlement sheets were entered.
  • Delinquency log is completed and distributed accurately.
  • Reconciliation of driver balances (where applicable)
  • Review and troubleshoot company driver balances.
  • Accurate application of Rejected Ticket Policies, proper distribution and logging.
  • Control of employee sales functions & procedures, maintain (0) zero balance.
  • Support of Handheld System where applicable.
  • Troubleshoots driver/distributor/warehouse handheld problems and/or issues on daily basis.
  • Prepares pre-sell handhelds for next day's selling.
  • Assist in dispatching reloads for sales department.
  • Assist in rollovers of distributor handhelds.
  • Monitor and tracking of handheld equipment.
  • Report any company policy violations.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
  • Perform all office-related duties assigned by Office Manager in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Assure that performance for all work related activities will eliminate/minimize personal injury and damage to Company property. Safety is an integral part of each job and each employee is responsible for safety as part of their job performance.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

  • Minimum High School Diploma; two year or four year accounting degree preferred.
  • One Year Data Entry Experience
  • One Year Supervisory Experience
  • Flexibility to work Overtime & Saturdays as business dictates
  • Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
  • MS Office including Word and Excel.
  • Company information systems applications including Infinium systems.
