Bonus; up to $15,000 for FT & $7,500 for P-T (16 hours/wk. min.)!

• Job/ Shift Hours: All shifts

As a Registered Nurse - Bath, NY, you will:

• Perform assessments on clients with illness, injury, or health related/psychological concerns.
• Report any significant finding to the appropriate medical provider and guardian, when appropriate
• Implement the prescribed intervention method.
• Transcribe all information accurately and efficiently and carry out orders for treatment as medically prescribed.
• Administer medication safely, accurately, and per NYS and agency guidelines.
• Monitor for signs of adverse reactions to medications and/or treatments.
• Effectively triage phone calls regarding health-related concerns of youth in care
• Support other members of the nursing team to assure quality care is delivered in an effective and timely manner.
• Oversee and supervise care provided by the LPN and other health office staff
• Provide assessments, monitor, and care for the youth in the event of physical restraint.
• Administer first-aid during emergency situations and coordinate patient care until EMS arrives or the youth is transported to an emergency department.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing Program and NYS license as a Registered Nurse
• Valid and unrestricted New York State Driver's License and must meet agency driving and insurance standards.
• Excellent communication skills.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $32- $4.75 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
