• Knowledge of physiology; conduct of research; & proper patient interaction skills.
• Skilled in: data entry, specimen collection, processing, storage, and analysis; & operation of PC-based programs.
• Ability to work independently and understand and interpret complex technical information.

• Phlebotomy skills preferred

The Department of Health and Human Performance (HHP) seeks a skilled and motivated individual for Non-Benefits Eligible Part-Time (less than 20 hrs/wk) position. Responsible for performing a variety of research duties.

Job duties under the direction of the principal investigator:

• Recruit and prescreen potential participants for clinical trial eligibility,
• Maintain source documents and patient education materials for clinical trials.
• Schedule participants for familiarization and data collection sessions.
• Participate in data collection activities and maintain follow-up communications with study participants.
• Assist with sample collection, processing, and shipping as outlined in the study protocol.
• Maintain lab supply inventory and submit materials for participant payments.
• Recognize and report adverse events/serious adverse events to the Principal Investigator.
• Initiate protocol amendments and complete clinical trial registrations.
• Perform quality assurance, ensuring source documentation accuracy and compliance with study protocols.
• Assist in the preparation of manuscript publication and data presentation materials.
• Attend and participate in research symposia and continuing education as requested by the manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a Non-Benefits Eligible Part-Time (less than 20 hrs/wk) position.
