The postdoctoral researcher will develop and implement techniques to enhance the capability in quantum sensing systems using the nitrogen vacancy (NV)-center in diamond. The research project involves both diamond growth by chemical vapor deposition as well as characterization and nanofabrication in a class 4 laser laboratory. The successful candidate should have a strong background in optics and photonics, and in particular in confocal microscopy and femtosecond laser machining, and experience working in a cleanroom environment.
